About the Company

Fusemachines is a rapidly growing global company with large operations in Nepal. We are looking for a self-driven, hard-working, smart, talented, and creative Sr. Content Writer who can create, edit and manage different types of content to meet the organization's goal.

The responsibilities for this job include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. It requires an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

 

Required Skills/Competencies:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in literature, business communications, a business degree.
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in this field.
  • Must be entrepreneurial, bright, articulate and able to challenge management to think beyond conventional wisdom within the current business paradigm.
  • Solid understanding of the company’s products and services
  • An ambitious and a strong team player, who is focused, original, persistent, results-driven, and has natural competitiveness.
  • Strong ability to conduct online research to come up with strong content.
  • Solid understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and current CMS preferred.
  • Worked with high-level Managers, or C-suite.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Should be able to take constructive criticism and work on improving content.
  • Must possess a solid understanding of how content marketing works.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Superb attention to detail, be able to proactively identify or forecast problems and bottlenecks and take actions.
  • Self-motivated and quick learner with a can-do attitude. 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and Google Docs Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, revise and ensure relevant content across the blog, social media, CMS, and other related platforms.
  • Write and edit original SEO ready content for company websites, blogs, online communication, and content assets including case studies, emails, newsletters, technical documentation, social et cetera.
  • Create, write and curate the business proposals, partnership proposals, funding proposals in collaboration with respective departments and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with various teams to successfully launch new initiatives such as AI Schools and prepare content for marketing and branding.
  • Contribute to developing of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function
  • Unlock various Content Marketing opportunities.
  • Other content development tasks as per required/assigned.
